State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the detailed advertisement (CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07) for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Graduation degree from a recognized University/ Institute as on 01.04.2026.
- It is mandatory for all candidates to register on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) before applying online through the SBI website.
- Important Note: Candidates who have already undergone Apprenticeship training in SBI or any other organization, or have training/job experience of one year or more after graduation, are not eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation

SBI Apprentice Selection Process
- Online Written Test: An objective-type test consisting of four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.
- Test of Local Language: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the specified local language of their applied State. Candidates who studied the language in 10th or 12th standard and have a mark sheet/certificate are exempted.
- Medical Examination: Final engagement is subject to being declared medically fit as per the Bank’s requirements.

How To Apply Online SBI Apprentice 2026
- Visit and register mandatorily on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
- After NAPS registration, visit the official SBI careers page at sbi.co.in/careers or bank.sbi/careers and open the Online Application Form under ‘Current Openings’.
- Fill in the application form carefully. Ensure you possess a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Upload your scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration as per the specified dimensions and file sizes.
- Candidates must also capture and upload a live photograph using a webcam or mobile phone QR code scan.
- Pay the applicable fee through the integrated payment gateway.
- Upon successful payment, an e-receipt and application form will be generated. Take a printout for your records.
