Prior Service RequirementMust be a retired officer of SBI or its e-Associate banks. The officer should have retired as MMGS-III, SMGS-IV/V & TEGS-VI on superannuation.
Retirement CriteriaShould have retired on attaining superannuation at the age of 60 years. Officers who took voluntary retirement at 58 with 30 years of service and have now attained 60 years are also eligible. Officers who resigned or were suspended are not eligible.
Work ExperienceThe retired personnel should preferably have work experience in the area of credit, audit, or Forex background.
Service RecordMust have a good track record and no punishment/penalty (Censure or higher) inflicted during the last five years of service preceding retirement.

  • Merit List Generation: The final selection merit list will be prepared strictly in descending order of the scores obtained in the interview.
  • Tie-Breaker: In case more than one candidate scores the common cut-off marks, candidates will be ranked in the merit list in descending order of their age (older candidates get preference).

  2. Register Online: Ensure you have a valid email ID active till the result declaration. Fill the application form carefully. You can save a partly filled form to generate a provisional registration number and password.
  3. Upload Documents: You must upload several documents in PDF format (under 500 kb, A4 size) including: ID Proof, Proof of Date of Birth, Copy of PPO, and a brief particular of your last 10 years of experience.
  4. Upload Photo & Signature: Upload a recent passport-style color photograph (20-50 kb, JPG/JPEG) and your signature on white paper with a black ink pen (10-20 kb, JPG/JPEG). Signature in capital letters will NOT be accepted.
  5. Submit and Print: Once all documents are properly previewed and uploaded , submit the complete application and take a printout of the system-generated online form. Hard copies do not need to be sent to the office.

Q1. What is the maximum age limit to apply for this post?

Ans: The maximum age for fresh engagement as on 14.05.2026 should be 63 years.

Q2. I took Voluntary Retirement (VRS) at age 55. Am I eligible?

Ans: No. Officers who voluntarily retired before superannuation are generally not eligible. However, an exception is made ONLY for officers who completed 58 years of age and 30 years of service at the time of VRS, and have now attained 60 years.

Q3. Can I apply for vacancies in multiple circles?

Ans: No. Only one application will be accepted from a retired officer for one Circle. If you submit multiple applications, only the last valid, completed application will be accepted and the rest will be rejected.

Q4. Will I get Provident Fund (PF) or Pension benefits from this contract?

Ans: No. The engagement is strictly on a contract basis and will not be treated as an extension in service for the purposes of PF, Pension, Bonus, or other superannuation benefits. However, your existing pension remains unaffected.

Q5. Can I continue working somewhere else after joining?

Ans: No. During the contract period with the Bank, you cannot take up any other assignment with any other organization, as this engagement requires full-time work. If you are currently working on another contract with the Bank, you must resign from it upon accepting this offer
